Wilsons Auctions to manage upcoming Online Bord Na Móna Auction
Over 260 Lots of surplus machinery from the company’s Derrygreenagh site in Co. Offaly to be sold
Wilsons Auctions, Ireland and UK’s largest independent auction company, is managing the first auction of its new contract with Bord Na Móna, offering surplus to requirement machinery from its Derrygreenagh site auctioned on Saturday 19th June from 10am.
The LiveBid auction will be available to the general public, allowing them to bid online with a live auctioneer. The auction will feature over 260 Lots and will include tractor models including New Holland, Massey Ferguson, John Deere, Fiat, Valtra & Ford.
Other items in this specialist offsite auction include Teva Bog Machines, tractor units, bog equipment, locomotives, dozers, engines, tyres and much more.
Ricky Wilson, Director and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions said, "We are delighted to launch the first of many auctions on behalf of Bord na Móna, having successfully been awarded this new contract and continue our work with the company. And despite the current restrictions, we are proud to continue our online auction service, offering a solution that complies with the government advice.
“This auction will feature a large volume of surplus to requirement stock, managed by our expert online Auction Team and I would encourage everyone to register as early as possible for online bidding ahead of the auction on 19th June. This is an auction not to be missed.” he added.
Viewings will be strictly by appointment only, running for five days on Saturday 12th June and Monday 14th – Thursday 17th June from 10am – 4pm. Viewing appointments will run in one-hour slots and restricted to one person per group, in accordance with government guidelines.
Live tractor or machinery video walk arounds are available on request for registered bidders. Recorded videos of the machines and tractors running will be available for anyone who would like to see them prior to auction.
