Wilsons Auctions to host NI Children's Hospice Charity Auction
Snow Patrol, Olly Murs and Rory McIlroy donate to NI Children's Hospice auction, hosted by Wilsons Auctions at Culloden Estate and Spa on 1st June.
A collection of Pop and Rock memorabilia, a meet-and-greet with Olly Murs in Belfast, a pair of Rory McIlroy's British Open (2017) golf shoes and work from celebrated artists Colin Davidson and James Baker will go to auction in aid of Northern Ireland Children's Hospice on Friday June 1.
The auction of gifts donated to the only children's hospice in Northern Ireland will help raise funds for the charity to open a sixth bed this year, helping more families and young patients with life-limited and life-threatening conditions.
The auction will be hosted online and to guests attending the Grand Night Out gala event by Wilsons Auctions, Belfast.
A signed Snow Patrol guitar is expected to grab the attention along with a meet-and-greet with pop star Olly Murs plus four tickets to his show in Belfast in August.
Guitarist Vivian Campbell, who is an Ambassador for Northern Ireland Hospice, has donated an album signed by the legendary rock band. There is also a signed print from horse-racing legend AP McCoy and a tour of ITV's Emmerdale studios with star guide Chris Chittell.
John Ardill, Wilsons Auctions' Belfast Branch Manager, said: "We are thrilled to once again be supporting Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and the great work it carries out for young Northern Ireland patients and their families. The content of the auction is proving very popular already through our website and to help support the wider appeal of the Lots, Wilsons Auctions is not only hosting the physical auction but will offer online bidding through our online auction facility, LiveBid on the night."
Heather Weir, CEO of Northern Ireland Hospice, said: "We've been able to gather fantastic items that will help raise vital funds for Northern Ireland's Children's Hospice. Time and again the generosity of people leaves us amazed. The funds we will raise from the auction and the special dinner event will help open a sixth bed at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice to meet the ever-increasing demand for hospice care services."
