Wilsons Auctions tee-off in aid of Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation
On Friday 3rd June, Wilsons Auctions Dublin hosted their sixth annual corporate golf tournament at one of Ireland’s top golf resorts, The K Club.
The day started at 9am with 80 keen golfers from across Irish businesses, ready to complete around 18 holes of what is to be the 2023 Irish Open Golf course.
The rain clouds stayed away, and the teams kept their cool around the course in order to chase the top prizes. The winning team was Lewis Motors, who finished just ahead of Europcar and Friends. Kevin Thomas from One Recruitment received an accolade for ‘Shot Nearest to the Pin Award’ and John Fitzpatrick from A&D Cars took the prize for the 'Longest Drive of the Day’.
Prizes were presented at a post-tournament dinner at the South Clubhouse.
“It’s been a fantastic day,” exclaimed Ricky Wilson, Director and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions. “It’s a great opportunity to step down from the rostrum and thank our valued vendors for their continued custom.”
Of course, in natural fashion, a charity auction took place at the dinner to raise vital funds for Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. With generous support, the auction raised over €4000.
Jason Delaney, General Manager and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions went on to say, ‘It’s an honour to host this event at the K Club and it’s great to be back to a bit of normality hosting events for our clients. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the day making it extremely enjoyable and successful. We look forward to next year and expanding this event further.’
