Wilsons Auctions swings into action for the Oscar Knox Cup
Local auction company teams up with Oscar Knox Fund as charity auction partner on Friday 6th September!
Wilsons Auctions is teaming up with the Oscar Knox Fund as auction partner for a second year of the Oscar Knox Cup, which takes place on Friday 6th September.
The annual golf day, which is now in its fourth year, takes place at Fortwilliam Golf Club in Belfast and was set up in memory of Oscar Knox, who passed away in 2014 aged just five years old, having fought a very brave battle with High Risk Neuroblastoma.
Young Oscar won the hearts of people across Northern Ireland and beyond throughout his courageous battle and this year’s event will continue to help raise vital funds for Solving Kids’ Cancer while marking what would have been his 11th birthday.
With continued support from the world of sport and local personalities and businesses, the golf day will conclude with a charity auction from 8pm and will be available to not only the attendees of the event but online bidders through Wilsons Auctions LiveBid auction facility.
Items in the auction will include:
• Luxury watch donated by Pride & Pinion
• Four-ball at Royal Portrush plus 2 x twin rooms at Blackrock B&B donated by Royal Portrush Golf Club and Blackrock B&B.
• 4 x Premium level tickets to the 2020 All Ireland Football Final, plus one other game of choice (excluding hurling final) donated by Parr Group.
• A 30 minute helicopter flight ex Newtownards for 3 people, buyer can choose route donated by Pride & Pinion.
