Wilsons Auctions Supports Olympic Eventing Hopeful Clare Abbott

Wilsons Auctions are delighted to help sponsor local Olympic star Clare Abbott who is part of Team Irelands equestrian team.

The Wilson family have had a very close affinity with the equestrian community for many years and are always keen to help local talent in their quest to fulfil their sporting ambitions. We are therefore delighted to be able to help sponsor local Olympic star Clare Abbott who is part of Team Ireland’s equestrian team for the Olympic games in Rio.

Eventing is a discipline, where the horse and rider have to complete three tests, in the following order: a dressage test, a cross country test and a show jumping test.

We'll be keeping an eye on Clare's progress over the course of the event with the first day of dressage taking place on Saturday at 2pm GMT.
