Wilsons Auctions strengthens Motability offering in Vehicle Programme
From April 2022, the auction company will host Motability Auctions across 5 Auction Centres.
Wilsons Auctions is proud to launch a new, dedicated auction sale for Motability Operations. With Motability auctions already taking place in branches across Newcastle, Newport, Portadown and most recently Glasgow, Wilsons Auctions is expanding their offering of these vehicles from their Oxford Auction Centre.
Strengthening their offering of vehicles at auction, the first Motability Operations auction at Oxford will take place on Wednesday 20th April at 12 noon. This additional sale will integrate into the existing Motability auction schedule across the Wilsons Auctions group.
Oxford is Wilsons Auctions most recent acquisition, in terms of Auction Centres. This allows the company to strategically cover the key trading areas of the Central, South, South West and South East areas providing true national coverage across the whole of the UK.
Formerly known as West Oxfordshire Motor Auctions, Oxford was already a long-established independent car auction, specialising in the remarketing of Ex Main Dealer Part Exchange vehicles, trade vehicle entries and ex-emergency services vehicles. With over 35 years of experience and knowledge, an established portfolio was built of high-profile vendors such as Citygate, Platinum, Fish Brothers and Dick Lovett to name a few.
Now owned by Wilsons Auctions, a wealth of national buyers is allowing Oxford to rapidly expand and develop. April initially saw Oxford’s Vehicle Auctions moving to a more desirable day time slot of 2pm on both Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. This encourages customers and potential buyers to purchase either online or physically in the hall where the cars are all driven through.
