Wilsons Auctions Ramps Up Success on Dalry Community Farm Show 2024

Wilsons Auctions proudly hosted this year’s annual Dalry Farm Society Show. Hosted at new premises owned by Wilsons Auctions, the show took place on Saturday 8th June at Lynnholm, Dalry.

Providing a fun and educational day out for families, displaying the wide range of talent and diverse agriculture that Dalry has to offer from Holstein cattle and Clydesdale horses to Suffolk sheep and Highland dancing. Alongside the farming and agricultural showcase there also featured a plethora of other attractions especially in the Industrial Tent Section which included produce, floral, handcrafts competitions and even a children’s section allowing all ages to participate.

Gareth Wilson, Director and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions commented, “It was fantastic to be able to host this year’s Dalry Farm Show. Wilsons Auctions purchased the additional land of approx. 50 acres in February 2024 and it has been all systems go preparing the grounds for the show.

It was great to see so much buzz around the various stalls and competitions. I believe the crowds doubled in volume this year which is an honour to be involved with.

It is 26 years since I opened the auction premises in Dalry just on the other side of the bridge to the additional ground the show was hosted on. Sitting on 40 acres, the auction premises is extremely well established now with state-of-the-art offices, auction halls and storage for all categories of assets.

With a great turnout and spectacular exhibitions, the show proved to be a huge success for all involved.
