Wilsons Auctions named Best Technology Provider at TRI Awards

Wilsons Auctions awarded for a second consecutive year in recognition of its innovative new cryptocurrency service.

Wilsons Auctions, the UK and Ireland’s largest independent auction company, has been awarded for the second consecutive year at the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards, named Best Technology Provider at a gala ceremony in London.

The prestigious national awards took place at Hilton London Bankside and championed the companies and individuals leading the charge for diversity across the TRI Arena.

The Best Technology Provider Award recognised Wilsons Auctions’ innovation over the past 12 months in successfully rolling out its new secure solution in realising crypto assets on behalf of government and law enforcement agencies worldwide.

The judges commented, “Wilson Auctions developed the world's first fully-insured storage and sale facility for crypto-currency assets. The judges felt this was a fantastic achievement. This facility will provide clients with the ability to secure and realise value for these assets. A pioneering move.”
