Wilsons Auctions donates to Barnardo's this Christmas

Wilsons Auctions recently donated hundreds of items to Barnardo's this week in a bid to help struggling families have a peaceful and happy Christmas.

By donating to the the Barnardo’s Christmas appeal, Wilsons Auctions helps provide relief to vulnerable children and families facing financial difficulty or across Northern Ireland to feel some Christmas spirit. These donations included a range of books, toys, games, household goods, clothing and much more.

Craig Walker, Contracts Director stated ‘Organising these donations helps ensure that these families won’t be without a gift under the tree. We were able to donate a variety of items that were fun, educational and practical, such as toys, books and clothing.’ Craig Walker handed over the donations to Bronagh Donnelly, a representative from Barnardo’s.

Barnardo’s NI is the largest children’s charity in Northern Ireland, supporting over 12,000 children, young people, and their families through a range of programmes and services. The charity provides over 40 services for children and young people and delivers educational support programmes in over 200 schools.
