Wilsons Auctions delivers a knock-out with Unreserved Government Auction & Government Property Auction
Steve Collins’ signed WBO Championship Belt, an Audi R8 and Rolex watches to be sold with no reserve on Thursday 26th April!
Wilsons Auctions is packing a punch with its monthly Unreserved Government and Property Auction as it prepares to sell Steve Collins' signed WBO Championship Boxing Belt along with luxury cars, watches and designer goods with no reserve on Thursday 26th April.
The boxing belt commemorates the Irish boxing legends win over the undefeated Chris Eubank in March 1995 and Chris Pyaff in May 1994 and is signed by both Collins and Eubank. The auction, which will take place from 6pm at Wilsons Auctions' Belfast branch and be available online, will offer bidders the chance to purchase an Aston Martin, Audi R8, Porsche 911 Turbo and Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars.
The auction will also feature a large selection of Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Tag Heuer and Cartier watches, diamond jewellery and designer shoes including Versace, Balenciaga and Giuseppe Zanotti Hi-Tops.
A selection of electrical goods will also go under the hammer from flat screen and curved TVs and Sony PS4 game consoles to a range of Apple products.
Wilsons Auctions will manage the disposal of all Lots during April's monthly auction including a number of land and property government entries with locations across the UK and beyond.
Wilsons Auctions' Asset Recovery Executive, Michael Streight said, "We are delighted to offer a fantastic range of luxury goods this month within our Unreserved Government Auction, not only do we have a fleet of impressive cars including an Aston Martin, Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 but for boxing fans we have Steve Collins' WBO Championship Boxing Belt, commemorating his unforgettable win over Chris Eubank.
"All items will be sold to the highest bidder at the fall of the gavel, with reserve requirements on the land and property only. Each month Wilsons Auctions plays an important role in realising a large quantity of assets on behalf of our government clients which has seen us responsible in returning more than £85 million back into the public purse. We are proud to facilitate these auctions across the group, which are proving more and more popular each month. This is a great opportunity to purchase quality goods for an affordable price so we would advise customers to register ahead of the auction on 26th April," he added.
A family owned business, Wilsons Auctions was formed in 1936 in Northern Ireland and has grown to become the largest independent Auction Company in the British Isles with sites in the Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
Wilsons Auctions is more than just an auction company, managing the whole asset realisation process for private and public sector and over 40 law enforcement agencies across the UK and Ireland.
