Wilsons Auctions awarded onto Crown Commercial Services Courier and Specialist Movements (RM6171) Framework Agreement
Wilsons Auctions, the UKs largest independent auction company, is delighted to announce they have been named on a new government framework that allows public and third sector organisations to access their services for the management and disposal of any category of asset.
The four-year framework, which is managed by Crown Commercial Services (CCS), runs until 2025 and allows organisations to directly award Wilsons Auctions a contract to manage the end-to-end asset realisation process, potentially cutting down the costs associated with regular procurement exercises.
Services available through the framework include transportation, valuation, storage and disposal of any category of asset, for example those that have been seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act, end of life vehicles or real estate where a site is deemed to be surplus to requirements.
Mark Woods, Government Contracts Manager commented, “We are delighted to be named on the new Framework Agreement RM6171 and it is testament to the hard work of the entire team here that we have been awarded onto Lot 6 of this agreement for Managed Services and Asset Recovery.
The work that Wilsons Auctions has done with law enforcement and other government agencies has resulted in over £130m being returned to the public purse which helps fund much needed services, compensation for victims of crime and community initiatives."
