UNRESERVED Rolexes at Auction This Week Alongside 8kg Seized Gold
Going under the hammer this week, Wilsons Auctions presents a rare selection of high-value assets to be sold without reserve.
Taking place 27 – 29 November, various sought-after timepieces are listed within this week’s luxury catalogue.
Two Rolexes in particular that will be sold with no reserve and to the highest bidder on the day; a Sky-Dweller and Day-Date. Both are the 18ct Everose Gold models in good condition, with the Sky-Dweller being accompanied with papers.
To note, the Rolex Day-Date reference 228345RBR is particularly rare with a chocolate dial and factory set baguette diamonds.
Other notable watches include a 18ct White Gold Rolex Yacht-Master II, a platinum Rolex Datejust with a Mother of Pearl; Diamond Dot dial, 18ct Yellow Gold, blue dial Rolex Submariner and a 18ct Everose Gold & Stainless Steel Rolex GMT-Master II.
The gold bullion, with a total weight of over 8kg and worth approximately £500,000, includes a variety of gold bars and coins of different weights, which will be offered in individual Lots, to be sold to the highest bidders.
The gold bars and coins were seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act and are being sold on behalf of a law enforcement agency. The auction will give buyers the opportunity to acquire the gold which will also see funds raised from the sale going towards the fight against organised crime.
Also included in the auction is a twin jet Cessna Citation 500. An iconic representation of luxury travel, the private jet, registered VP-COM, was built in 1976 and again will be sold without reserve. The aircraft offers occupancy for up to five passengers and two crew members. The interior and exterior are in good condition however it is noted that some maintenance is due on the aircraft.
Presented in a timed online auction, this auction will open on Wednesday 27th November at 11am. Registered bidders will have a lengthy window of opportunity to bid online before the auction closes from 11am on Friday 29th November. Bidding will be open to the public and will be online only.
