Tee-rific Corporate Golf Tournament raises thousands for charity

Wilsons Auctions tee’d off with their annual Corporate Golf Day on Friday 5th May, held at one of Ireland’s top golf resorts, The K Club.

With over 120 keen golfers turning out in support of the event’s charity partner Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, the day set off to a great start. Split into 30 teams, businesses from across Ireland and the UK enjoyed the 2023 Irish Open 18-hole course.

The competition was particularly strong this year in pursuit of the top prizes, with the eventual  winning team being Morrisons BMW. Mick Brophy from One Recruitment received an accolade for ‘Shot Nearest to the Pin Award’ and Jack Sleator from Skoda was pipped by Niall Morrison from Morrisons BMW who took the prize for the 'Longest Drive of the Day’.

After brushing down their golf shoes, a post-tournament lunch and prize ceremony took place at the South Clubhouse. Lunch included a BBQ with plenty of entertainment such as music, quizzes and of course, auctions.

Bettering last year’s fundraising efforts, a total €5000 was raised throughout the day for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
