Supercar Charity Auction aims to fly high with Wilsons Auctions
Wilsons Auctions is proud to partner with Supercar Sunday to raise vital funds for Air Ambulance NI and Eoin Henry Foundation.
Taking place on Saturday 30th July, Slieve Donard is the choice of this year’s Supercar Sunday Gala Ball. The night will offer guests a fabulous selection of exclusive Lots up for grabs via auction.
If you’re a supercar enthusiast, top Lots of particular interest include a VIP McLaren Technology Tour For Two, a Passione Ferrari Club Challenge For Two and a Charles Hurst Ferrari Drivers Club Tour to Adare Manor.
For the keen golfers, perhaps a Signed and Framed 2005 Masters Tournament Flag is of more interest to bid on.
Luxury sparkles are also listed in the exclusive auction catalogue. A 9ct white Gold Diamond Set Ladies Tennis Bracelet will be sold to the highest bidder on the night. Luxury Emerald and Diamond Earrings have also been kindly donated to the charity auction.
Ahead of the auction, Auctioneer and Northern Ireland General Manager at Wilsons Auctions, John Ardill commented, “This will be quite an evening on 30th July! Some of the top Lots are exclusive member-only packages, so it's a really great opportunity for people to get their hands on these. Interest is already building after the catalogue went live on our website."
“An auction can really add to the night of an event and encourages everyone to get involved for such great causes. As the largest independent auction company in the UK and Ireland, Wilsons Auctions has helped hundreds of charities to raise vital funds with physical and online events. I’m looking forward to the night and hope everyone keeps their hands in the air!”
For those who aren’t attending the Gala Ball, all Lots are available to view at www.wilsonsauctions.com and commission bids can be arranged. For all enquiries, please contact johnardill@wilsonsauctions.com or info@airambulanceni.org.
The Gala Ball is only one part of the weekend long event. Now on its third year, the popular tour is Northern Ireland’s biggest ever Supercar Show. Attendees will see hundreds of supercars parked up on display in Portstewart on Saturday 30th July and in Downpatrick, on Sunday 31 July.
The cars will include Lamborghinis, McLarens, and Aston Martins to name a few, and Ferarri will be out in force with two very special cars on display and on track on the Sunday.
Organiser, Ronan Cunningham said, “This is the third year of Supercar Sunday and it has already raised almost £70,000 for charity. It offers families a great day out and a chance to see unique vehicles together in the one place. The cars will include Lamborghini’s, McLaren’s, and Aston Martin’s to name a few and Ferarri will be out in force with two very special cars, on display and on track on the Sunday. We are also holding a Gala Ball and charity auction at the Slieve Donard in Newcastle on the evening of Saturday 30th July, with fantastic prizes up for grabs.”
Kerry Anderson, head of fundraising at Air Ambulance NI, added, “We are delighted to once again be benefiting from the Supercar Weekend of fundraising. One highlight is certainly the Gala auction evening at the Slieve Donard. The quality of prizes is truly unique and we are very grateful to Wilsons Auctions who are leading this element. There are prizes for the car enthusiast, art lover, jewellery investor and golf fanatic. All prizes have been very generously donated and 100% of all funds raised will benefit Air Ambulance NI and the Eoin Henry Foundation.”
