Seized Lamborghini gets the ‘green light’ for auction
The Green Lamborghini Spyder Gallardo will be offered at Wilsons Auctions’ Online Luxury Goods Auction this January.
The 2013 supercar is allocated to online auction on behalf of law enforcement agencies after being seized in a supply operation of Class A drugs between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Located at Wilsons Auctions Queensferry, the vibrant green Gallardo will be sold with no reserve, going to the highest bidder. It is said to be the best selling Lamborghini model. All interested parties are able to email warrenboyd@wilsonsauctions.com to arrange a viewing appointment.
Presented in a timed online auction bidding will start on Friday 13th January at 11am GMT. Potential bidders will have a lengthy window of opportunity to bid online before the auction closes at 11am GMT on Tuesday 17thJanuary. Bidding will be open to the public and will be online only.
Wilsons Auctions’ Luxury Auction has over 95 Lots listed in the January catalogue. Alongside the Lamborghini, bidders will have the opportunity to bid on ex-government Rigid Inflatable Boats. Further into the catalogue, exclusive timepieces such as a 18ct Yellow Gold Rolex Daytona with an auction estimate of £35,000 - £40,000, a 18ct Yellow Gold Rolex Yacht Master II with an auction estimate of £20,000 - £25,000 and a 18ct Everose Gold President Rolex Day-Date with an auction estimate of £30,000 - £35,000.
Fine jewellery is featured in the January online auction with statement Lots including a 18ct White Gold Brilliant-Cut Diamond Line Necklace with an auction estimate of £17,000 - £20,000, a 18ct White Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring with an auction estimate of £16,000 - £18,000 and a 18ct White & Yellow Gold Natural Diamond & Yellow Sapphire Pendant & Chain with an auction estimate of £13,000 - £15,000.
Other items include designer handbags and accessories.
