Designer shoes, a Ferrari and property to go under the hammer with no reserve!
£2.3 million worth of seized goods to be sold in Wilsons Auctions Unreserved Government Auction on Wednesday 14th August!
A selection of designer shoes seized from a drug dealer by Gloucestershire Constabulary as well as a Ferrari 360 Modena entered by the Maltese Government will go under the hammer during the Unreserved Government Auction at Wilsons Auctions on Wednesday 14th August at 7.30pm.
The Ferrari is the first asset that Wilsons Auctions will dispose of on behalf of the Asset Recovery Bureau in Malta, having successfully won a contract with the government department. The high-end vehicle was linked to a drug-trafficking offence in the European country and following a police operation was later confiscated by the Courts of Malta before being transferred to the Asset Recovery Bureau.
The auction, with a total estimated value of £2.3 million, will also see a number of criminal’s ill gotten gains including Rolex watches and property located across Europe, go under the hammer with no reserve.
Other highlights in the auction will include a rose gold Rolex Daytona with a nearest retail value of £27,450, a rare Wimbledon Dial Rolex Datejust with a nearest retail value of £8,900 and a selection of designer sneakers from Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Balenciaga, Burberry and many more worth up to £1,200 per pair.
This month, part of the Government Property Auctions, Wilsons Auctions Newport will be auctioning a selection of government instructed properties across England and as far away as Spain, with freehold five-bedroom detached villa close to the town of Campos del Rio and the ancient city of Murcia. With a guide price of £225,000 the property is located in a development which benefits from a large plot with pool, jacuzzi, air conditioning and garage.
A freehold mid-terrace property in excellent condition is also going under the hammer with a guide price of £550,000. Located in Ilford, London, the property includes three bedrooms, including a loft bedroom with en-suite and has an extended kitchen/diner with under floor heating as well as brick built outbuilding and off-road parking.
The auction will be available to a worldwide audience through Wilsons Auctions’ online bidding facility, LiveBid and will take place at Wilsons Auctions South Wales branch in Newport.
