According to an an article in Commercial Fleet, figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) stated that 2015 was a record year for commercial vehicle sales.

Vans in particular hit record levels - up 15.6% to 371,830 registrations in 2015 while trucks also showed a robust growth in comparison to 2014.
