A booming success for our 31st March Auctions at Mallusk

Our Thursday night car auction, Small tools auction and Unreserved Prestige Auction formed part of a fantastic jam-packed week of 7 auctions in 4 days.

The atmosphere was electric as people flocked into our Mallusk branch and joined us online from all over the world, excited for the buzz of the auctions to come. Young couples, professionals and families were greeted by complementary drinks and light bites from our newly refurbished restaurant, The Basement and then guided towards the auction halls for the bidding to commence.

Walking through the three halls feelings of anticipation and excitement filled the rooms as the first lots came under the hammer. Our Unreserved Prestige Auction really drew in the crowd with the Cessna Aircraft, cherished number plates and designer watches all being popular Lots.

Adding to the buzz was the addition of the online bidders and phone bidders from all over the world, keeping those physically in the hall, on their toes.

Throughout the night we were live tweeting about the different items in the Unreserved Prestige Auction. Bidders battled it out for the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Daytona watch until one came out triumphant at £12,500. The hammer went down on the beautiful Porsche Cayman S at a respectable £14,100. The star of the show was the Cessna aircraft, which had bidders from all over the world and reached a height of £30,000 on the night.
