Wilsons Auctions Dublin is experiencing a huge demand from its vast buyer base for the wide variety of vendors vehicles at its Naas Road branch in the first two weeks of 2020.

The branch is pleased to report that many vendors are currently achieving 100% sale rates with prices achieving above their expected reserve prices.

Over recent weeks it is evident that both physical auctions along with its online digital remarketing platforms are the preferred route to market by many motor industry professionals. This allows them to maximise the return of their vehicles along with benefitting from the efficiency of Wilsons Auctions spectrum of services from national collection to remarketing through to auction.

Speaking of the positive start to the year, Director Ricky Wilson said, “We are experiencing a strong physical auction hall attendance from our buying audience and coupled with a strong online buying presence we are very encouraged by the results so far. The news comes as the National Association of Motor Auctions commented on latest figures from its market attitude survey, with over half of respondents expecting an increase in auction volumes in January. The survey results indicated that conversion rates are strongly favoured to increase and with the prediction of strengthening first-time conversion rates, it suggests that demand for stock will be strong from the start of 2020, with vehicle values expecting to remain stable.
